    Dijon reached top spot in the table on account of the good home games. They won only once away since the start of the season and only twice in 2014! Dijon are not a top-quality team, but they are consistent and well-organized, managing to take advantage of top teams' poorer openings. If they don't acquire a good forward over the winter, they won't stand a chance of claiming the top in the end.
    Valenciennes made a lot of changes to the team over the summer to start with a few bad games but ever since August, they have displayed continuous progress. With two consecutive wins and a draw ahead of the break, I think they're the no.1 candidate for the title. With a few internationals from Cameroon, Mali, and few top-league veterans, they are definitively better than Dijon, which I'm sure the following games will prove.
    They're particularly tough home, their coach knows Dijon very well. Each team miss an important midfielder, but Cisse is probably more important for the visitors than Enza-Yamissi is for the home team. Details

    55 and 57 goals were scored in their head-to-head games last season, but a lot of changes have happened since. Both teams lost a number of key players, with Drott not surprisingly still oriented on a fast-pace game. That speed they possess might be of great help today offense-wise with the opponent plying a tough, often 3-2-1 defense. That's great for Drott, much better than the shallow 6-0 Kristianstad and Ystads used against them. Hammarby, on the other hand, decided to put more focus on left back Hannisch and on running after losing a few top-level shooters. Coach Matsson said that their efficiency has to be much better than it was in the Savehof game the last round. He was not worried with the defense conceding 33 goals though. That is the proof of what kind of a game they hope for today. The teams are expected to get very close to the 60-goals margin and maybe even to go over it. Details

    I think a lot of points will be scored in this game, and since I believe Enisej to be underrated, the team over at the visiting team seems like the best choice. The Siberian team are offense oriented and one of the fastest-pace teams in the league. They were limited to less than 74 points in only one out of 20 games last season, but even then stayed over this margin (71). With an even greater potential this season, and despite the two defeats in the first three games, they managed to score at least 73 in all of those three.

    CSKA opened the season well, and with a very tough schedule this week, I expect them to not give their best in this game. Besides, Itoudis can't count on his three players, and this is a great opportunity for him to give the eight players who took on Alba a break. Enisej have the player that can threaten the opponent and are definitely worth more.

    Counter-handicap, with a margin set quite high, is a good option as well, but CSKA are a tricky team to bet on, since they have the capacity to destroy any team home. Teodisic now has a lot more freedom to play fast transition and to try and win as many 'easy' point as possible. There's always the possibility that the game will be settled by half time. The margin at Enisej is definitely two low, with the counter-handicap as a good option as well. Details

    I think Serena's season was over when she lifted the US Open trophy. The entire second half of her season was about the US Open and something she said after that Grand Slam is very important. She said that she wants to focus on breaking the Grand Slam records.
    We can expect her to try her best, particularly at Grand Slams. She is no longer very young and her knee isn't as it used to be. I'm sure she is well-aware of that, and that she won't do her absolute best here and in the matches to come. Ivanovic knows how what to do against Serena, she beat her once this season and won a set in two defeats. This is only a conformation of an excellent season, and she has nothing to lose today. This will be her chance to prove herself and a great start to the next season. I'm sure she will fight back, and since it's the first match and I don't believe Serena will go full throttle. I think Ivanovic definitely stands a chance. Details
