This season is a complete miss for Minsk; things immediately went sour and it's pretty clear that they will end at the very back of the table. Their motivation is pretty unclear; they want to finish the competition with at least one win, but I doubt they will try too hard in the defense. Their latest matches only confirmed that. At home, Minks conceded 91 and 119 against Jenisej and Avtodor, and I doubt they will leave Oktjabr at 80 or less. There's a big difference in quality and motivation. Oktjabr have to win if they want to reach the playoffs, and they have four to five Americans in their lines who are capable of scoring 15 to 20 points. I think Minsk's players will have a hard time blocking them; they concede over 90 points on average in home games, and in the last nine they left only Samara and UNICS (exactly 84) below this margin. The situation in which they are allows for a more attractive basketball on their side, but I doubt they will try to set such a pace today, which Oktjabr with Culpepper and company can definitely pair up to, offensively. Lopez doesn't like the conditions in Indian Wells but his service can be very efficient here. The rallies are more difficult since his shots don't have the same effect on this surface. Cuevas is not a player for this surface, but what ever is not agreeing with the Spaniard, is agreeing with him. They both made comebacks in the last matches to confirm they never give up. Not counting Grand Slam and Davis Cup matches, Cuevas went over 22 games in 12 matches (one ended in retiring). I expect a great fight and no favorite here. They could go over the margin in straight sets because they can both be dominant in their service games but I wouldn't be surprised if this ends in three sets. Novak has been doing his best for a while now and is able to cover the handicap against almost anyone, on any surface. He won AO, lost to Federer in Dubai in a match he could have just as easily won. Ramos is doing quite well this season. He beat Troicki, who was not very motivated. The match against Benneteau is not very important since the Frenchman played with an injury. Novak is better in every segment and anything but his convincing win would be a surprise. Details

The season is coming to its end and the defending champions from L.A. are still not in playoff zone. I'm sure that will change soon because, no matter the regular season, they are the prime contenders for the title in the playoffs. Four wins in the last 6 games are a nice improvement and their last defeat to Nashville home won't stop me from betting, quite the contrary. The Kinds made improvements to get some two levels above Arizona. Arizona are among the worst teams in the league, with no chance of improving their ranking and with 14 defeats in the last 15 games. They had to let their top top players go and are no longer the same team. In two last h2h matches of the season, the Kings won 4-2 and 4-0 back when Arizona were complete and motivated. I expect a similar outcome today. The kings need to win this in order to reach playoffs and they know. Given their much better quality, there is no doubt they can in handicap. Details

Tomic is in great rhythm and most importantly, has consistency, which has always been a problem in the past. He lost only to Top 10 players (Nishikori, Federer) and those who are doing their best. He beat Rosol and Vesely in Czech Republic and then Borna Coric. He never once lost his serve against the young Croat and that only proves he's got the confidence. When he has that, he's very dangerous. He want to make it into Top 20 and what better way to improve your chances than beating a Top 10 player. For some reason, the Spaniard is not doing very well in Indian Wells, never has. Tomic is good, mature, while Ferrer wins his matches, but not convincingly. I think we're in for a tough match and that Tomic will be very close. He has good rhythm, confidence and he'll make this a close match. I recommend total games over too. Details

Since he came to OKC, Enes Kanter improved their game, and Ibaka and Durant's absence gives him a chance to play the offense. Out of 11 games he played for the Thunder, eight were ended with at least 15 points. He's been especially impressive in the last four that he ended with 21 (9/14), 18 (6/12), 23 (10/19) and 18 points (7/16). Even though he has a really nice half-distance shot, and he can also score three-pointers, Kanter scores most of his points in the paint. He's especially offensive when it comes to the offensive rebounds, the Bulls felt it last night when he and Adams ruined them under the hoops. To keep it short, Ibaka's out, Durantula's out, Wbrook can't do everything by himself, so our hero should definitely have enough room to go over this margin against the weak Mavs' defense. Details

Even though I cannot understand why the Nets are doing so badly this season, I think the odds here are worth going for with medium stake. Williams, Lopez and others have not time left and each next defeat means they will probably not see playoffs this season. Since they meet the Wolves today, who played the Spurs last night, the Nets simply cannot afford to lose. The Nets did struggle with the 76ers last game but I think that the wounded Wolves should be an easier task. The home team are decimated by injuries, this is their 5th game in 8 days and the clearly struggled with fatigue as early as first half of the game with Spurs. It is not yet known who will be in their starting five, but Pekovic and Garnett will probably not be there, Rubio and Neal are questionable. Either way, I think going with the Nets' win at these odds is good since the Nets are more of less complete and definitely favorites against the tired Wolves. Details
