    Glassverket are definitely not at last season's level but they still cannot be compared to Storhamar, especially home.
    They still have a good enough team, they played some good CL games, like the one against Buducnost and Thuringer. When it comes to the championship, they've been doing as expected until the slip against Tertnes. They lost only to Larvik and Byasen in the other 10 games. Of course, Storhamar cannot be compared to those teams.
    They confirmed quality in the last EHF game when they beat Oppsal easily with substitutes. As for motivation, there is no great there. They are focused on the championship, especially home games. The results might not be that convincing since the coach rests stars when ever it's possible but they do not have problems controlling games. They also beat Kristiansand, who had it easy with Storhamar.

    The visitors opened the second part of the season with 3 wins. Realistically, they played three of the weakest teams but it got them in the race for medals and they cannot be underestimated. Storhamar got even better when Sundomen got back. The offense is great but the defense will have problems since GIF's offense is very different than Raellingen, who them struggled with in the first half.
    To sum up, Storhamar are dangerous and play well but they are still the team that came from the second league and do not have enough quality to stun the opponents. The odds suggest that this is a close game but it most certainly isn't. GIF are favorites for a reason as the first h2h proved. They won it by 4 goals despite the fact it was season start. GIF still have no defeats home and I'm sure that won't be changed today.

    Ploesti and Piatra will play the 13th round match today. Piatra are in a big crisis, both financial and game-wise. Some of their players left, among them top players Laza. Even when he was on the team, they were bottom table on a 1-12 record. On the other hand, this is a very important match for Ploiesti because the three points would see them take spot 4 before Craiova. The Romanian championship isn't typical and there can be no holding back. Plioesta are 5-1 in the championship and 8-1 overall home. Piatra are horribe away, they got just a set in 6 games. That was against the completely redesigned Steaua in the first game. They lost that by 13, to Arcada by 24, in Craiova by 27, to Baia Mare by 17. Even Cluj beat them by 18- They covered the handicap against Caransebes (-9) and Steaua with a better team. The home team didn't really cover this handicap but they have been struggling with injuries since the start of the season and when they were sort of complete, they beat Cluj by 26 and Cluj beat Piatra by 18. They have +16 against Unirea, who also beat Piatra. Last weekend, they trashed Stiinta Bacau away by 18. I think Piatra will lose by 19 to 24 points.
