But here we won't be dealing with them, but with their opponents. The Devils have lost all their matches so far. The fact that they've lost is not important, but the way in which they have. Against the Islanders they've led twice, against Edmonton with three goals of difference, against Vancouver with two, and that wasn't enough for them to win. The losing mentality is something they've probably grown accustomed to. Currently they're on a tour in Canada, and after this one they'll be playing two more games before returning home. The odds offered represent a realistic balance of power between the two teams in normal circumstances. Malta conceded more than 2.5 goals only twice in these qualifications, both times were away. They conceded 6 in Bulgaria, three in Czech Republic but after a very equal first half.
