Since Durantula is back, the home team are heavy favorites today. But, the Nets cannot be underestimated even though they're on a 2-11 record ahead of this game

Oklahoma City Thunder have a lot of catching up to do since they were without Kevin Durant int he first 6 games. he made a comeback on Monday to make a great contribution in the 111-89 win in Salt Lake City. He hit 27 points, 6 rebounds and 4 steals in 30 minutes with a brilliant 10-for-13 shooting from the floor (3-for-6). He therefore proved that the hamstring injury is a thing of the past. 

- I felt well. I was bit out of breath which is no surprise given the break I had and the altitude. But everything was fine after a few minutes - Durantula said. He averaged 28,0 points with 52,4 percent shooting so far this season.

His comeback and the blowout took a lot of pressure of Russell Westbrook, who still managed to record 20 points (5/10), 7 rebounds and 9 assists. But that is still not as good as he did in the previous 6 games, in which he averaged 32,7 points, 7,6 rebounds and 9,3 assists.

- When you're 30 points short, that changes things. His absence makes everything much easier. We're a much better team when he's on the floor - Westbrook said.

OKC hit 54,5 percent of field goal attempts in the last two games combined, including 20/49 three pointers (40,8%). That means that coach Donovan know what he has on the team better now, but he still for some reason kept both of his top players on the bench at the same time. That was a mistake his predecessor Brooks often made. Thunder's coach will still probably do some more experiments with the lineups, which could result in a few defeats but there is no doubt his team will steamroll everyone they face in the second part of the season. 

Brooklyn are currently 3-11 and the main reason for it is the disastrous defense that allows 104,4 goals per game (the worst record in the East). Even though they allowed the opponents over 100 points in the last game, the Nets still managed to win. It was the first game they won despite the fact the opponents went over 100. The final score was 111-101.

The offense was at a high level, having finished with shooting of 50,6 percent, which is much better than the 39,3 percent they had against Boston in the previous game (lost it 120-95).

Brook Lopez hit 23 points with 10 rebounds, while Jack added 22 (7-for-11 from the floor). They limited Boston to only 32 points from the paint after allowing the previous opponents 68.

- I think we took the last defeat personally because of our bad performance - Jack said.

He will have a very tough task against Westbrook today. The Nest are 8-1 away so far but they won the last three trips to Oklahoma, including 4 out of the last 5 games. But, Oklahoma didn't have Westbrook in the last 4 and Durant in the last two games.

It is crazy to say anything against Russell Westbrook, but I think I have enough reasons to believe that there is more chance that he will achieve a triple-double tonight than score 30 points. With Kevin Durant's return, a great weight has been lifted from his shoulders which was evident two days ago when he scored 20 against the Jazz with 5/10 shots from the floor and perfect 10/10 from the free throw line. Even though Durantula missed six games, Westbrook scored over 27 points only five times and exactly 27 once, and additional bonus to this bet are relatively modest opponents and the Thunder should 'take care' of them relatively quickly.
