Turin won last two games they didn't have to win, managing to make amends at least partly, but they're not the only ones to blame for where they are result vise. They've been struggling with very serious injuries from the very beginning, which crushed their dreams of finally bringing Helsinki down.

- Mariehamn are a good team, particularly dangerous when attacked. Their counter attacks, as we experienced twice this season, are very good - said Turun's defender Starck.


This will be Turun's last home match, with no special significance. They're missing a lot of players again, some of them have been out for months. That means Turun would be just as weak as they were lately, at approximately 50% without those players.

Marienham had injury problems as well, but not as many. They've started doing better lately, but the last game was a complete disaster. 

Direct rival Lahti destroyed them (5-1), which didn't help with the goal difference - in case their rivals fail, they'll probably still be four or five goals short.

If they fail to win in Turku today, their chances would be next to none - Vaasa will almost certainly win at least a point with Jaro. Mariehamn are meeting Vaasa in the last round, which would at least give them the opportunity to decide on their own faith.

Only defender Purse (suspended), will miss the match for Mariehamm, the other players are missing for a while now.

Out of three clubs fighting for third place, Mariehamn's chances are the smallest, but not as small as one might think. They have a good schedule and if certain things go their way, they could easily finish in third place and therefore play in Europe. Vaasa have an easy job on paper. They're playing against Jaro, who lost seven consecutive matches, but they're bitter rivals. The best description of that rivalry is the situation from last season. Vaasa let Haka win in the last round in order to knock Jaro out of the league, but Jaro won their match and saved themselves. Therefore, we shouldn't expect an easy win for Vaasa because Jaro would rather lose ten matches than that one. Lahti are playing an away match against Honka. There's no need to get further into this, but Lahti probably won't win. In case their competitors fail, Mariehamn would decide their own fate in the last round when they play against Vaasa. In order to do that, they have to win today. They have an ideal opponent, a team that has nothing to play for and they have a positive score against them. They've beaten them conclusively both times this season, knocked them out of the Cup, and they had excellent results last season too - two wins and a draw. I believe Mariehamn will win today as well because they have that imperative against a team that's already on vacation.
