    This is the third consecutive season that Vardar and Szeged are in the same Champions League group, but the first one is not that relevant, since that was a different Szeged. In comparison to last season, their rosters are almost identical, but Vardar are with Kristopans, and without Dujsebaev, a bit slower, more offensively oriented. In their head-to-heads last season the results were 30-27 in Skopje and 23-21 in Hungary.
    Vardar conceded over 25 this season only in the irrelevant game against Tatran (18-11 at halftime) and to Barcelona in the Super Globe semi-final (29-32). In the Champions League they have 26-22 at Wisla, 27-23 at home against Nantes and 28-21 against Zagreb.
    Szeged had the best defense in the Champions League last season, and in last and this season they never conceded over 30 goals. Except the 30 in Skopje, they also conceded that much to PSG in CL quarter-final, and to Nantes in France. We can also bet on the 53.5 under, but since I cannot see a scenario in which this will go up to 7-8 goal difference for either team, this option seems better. Details

    Aranas are slower than last season and their new coach is more focused on defense. No one scored more than 30 against them, including the away games against Savenhof (preseason), Kristianstad and Ystads, who are top of the league offensively. They played 24-17 home with Malmo.

    Lugi lost top scorer of the league Jepsson during the summer. Even with him, they didn't go over 30 in any of the away games. This season, they have 32 in a home game against Karlskron, who are better than Aranas. The 23-22 with Helsingborg is pretty relevant and that team is better than Aranas. At the same time, they kept the defense level high and that is what they base their game on. I expect a big battle and I don't see either team going at 30+. Details

    Kristianstad away games in CL last season - Kielce 13-18, Löwen 13-17, Meškov 13-17, Szeged 17-20, Vardar 13-17 (Zagreb and Celje are not that level). Only goal keeper Simić is now out and because they stand less chance in zone game against Barcelona, I expect a fast pace on their part.

    Barcelona had Kadetten 21:12, Bjerringbro 18:10, Wisla 17:15 home last season. Flensburg, Kiel, Veszprem and PSG are not relevant. This season they opened fiecerly in all game and had 18-12 against Lowen at HT last week. Oascual said this will be a fast-paced game and I expect Barcelona over 15,5 in the first half.
