Barcelona B troubled by three defeats in a row and a number of unavailable players

Barcelona have become sterile on the attack and the away team has been in a good attacking form.

Barcelona B awaits Deportivo on Mina Estada in a bad mood. There are many reasons for their bad mood, but the main reason is they've lost three times in a row so now they're really close to the relegation zone. Coach Eusebio has been under a lot of criticism not only due to these three defeats, but also because they haven't scored in those three matches. No one expected this from a team who is highly creative and one of the most efficient ones in Segunda.

So, the home team is highly motivated and in need of points before playing a team who will most likely return to Primera at the end of the season. However, in spite of the optimism, bad form and a number of unavailable players could prove to be too much to handle for the young team. Defender Bagnack (Cameroon), midfielder Babunski (Macedonia) and striker Sanabria (Paraguay) are on international duty. Ca, Le, Grimaldo, Gomez, Juste, Dongou and Campins have been injured for a while. Barcelona B only have 13 available players, 3 of whom are goalkeepers, so Eusebio was forced to promote 5 players from under 18 team in order to fill in the squad.

The away team has been in good form lately and started to show the kind of game everyone expected from them. They had won two games in a row, but last weekend they played Mirandes on Riazor and failed to win so their winning run came to an end. On the other hand, their defense has been in perfect form and hasn't made any mistakes in those games.

Deportivo are a far more experienced team because coach Vazquez has the players who had played Primera last year. Their experience could prove crucial in a game that's supposed to be played in a smart way.

- Our defense has almost reached perfection. I hope we'll be able to make use of our advantages and win. The home team is technically very strong and we know they like to control the ball. We've prepared a lot for this game and now it's important to show it on the pitch. I believe we're really close to winning three points, but you mustn't underestimate the home team despite their problems - said the coach.

Vazquez will make some changes in the starting eleven. Defender Insua is on international duty while midfielder Nunez is still recovering from injury. Experienced defender Marchena and important midfielder Arizmendi have returned from an injury so they should start the game as substitutes.

It is clear that Barcelona B are in a crisis. They've lost three consecutive games and did not score a single goal in any of them. Along with the bad form of his team, coach Eusebio has only 13 players at his disposal for this game, to which he added five from younger categories. All things considered, Deportivo have a big chance to win points here.
