The Texas team lost only 3 games this season

The Spurs probably don't mind the fact Golden State are getting most of the media attention at the moment, as that allows them to keep on getting better in peace

Even though they are far from their most impressive level, the Bulls managed to get 9 wins our of the last 14 games. They've just had a tough road trip during which they visited Phoenix, Oakland, Portland and Indianapolis to return home with a 2-2 record. Their worst game on the road trip and most likely during the entire season was the one against the Pacers. Chicago lost it 104-92 mostly due to a horrible field goal efficiency of only 34,8%.

- We simply didn't play too well but we have to fight to get better. We have to be more of a team in offense. We have to have a better flow. We keep on doing it in the practice sessions and I think it's about time for us to start doing it in the games as well - Hoiberg said after his team went 22-for-66 in two-pointers. 

Not even Nikola Mirotic's top performance (he hit 25 points, 8-for-14) helped. The other four starters combined 41 points (14-for-49 from the floor). Derrick Rose did particularly badly to get limited to only 9 points (missed 12 out of his 16 field goal attempts).

Even though they're back home, things will not be easy today since the San Antonio Spurs won 14 out of the last 17 games. 

The Hawks had a chance to see how tough the Texans are last Saturday. They went back home with a 108-88 defeat after getting limited to 42,5 percent shooting after hitting 106,4 points in the previous 5 games. The Spurs are brilliant on the defensive end, which limits the opponents to only 89,7 points (84 or less in 6 out of the last 9 games).

- We are normally a team that is getting better in defense and we opened really really aggressively this season. LeMarcus (Aldridge) gave us extra height. He's fast for such a big guy and he can defend very well - Manu Ginobili said. 

When the shooting gets better the Spurs will be almost unstoppable. They won 11 out of the last 12 games, including five in a row. The fact they have a good h2h record against the Bulls is another reason for optimism (won 4 out of the last 6 games.
