Spain - Switzerland (5:2)

We have one expected finalist (Spain) and one big surprise (Switzerland) in the U17 EC final. Spain are undefeated over the past two years, they have two wins and two draws here, having scored at least 2 goals in each of the matches up until the semifinals. They conceded only one goals this year - to France in the semis and won in the end after the penalty shootout. They scored the equalizer in that game with only minutes left in regulation time (a master piece by Natalia Montilla) but they were better in almost all segments of the game. The Spaniards had 7 shots on target, better possession, control and in this match inferior forward Garcia, who had a few perfect shots at scoring. But she made up for it by scoring the final winning penalty.

Switzerland came here as the undefeated team and recorded three wins and a draw here. They did very well against Germany in semifinals and managed to survive the constant pressure over the last 15 minutes to finally score a goal after the Germans missed out on a great chance.
I expect Spain to learn something from their game against Switzerland and not copy Germany's bad formation in the semifinals against the Swiss. Spain are technically the most superior team here, with Guijarro, who is far ahead of anyone else here. Four of their players are already playing for their Spanish Primera A teams. Even though they are clearly much better than Switzerland technically, the Germans were holding back and that backfired. Spain will not go with their tactics but rather try and open the game with an early goal to make everything easier as they sail towards an easy win. Individual over for Spain at 1.5 margin is worth going for.
