Even though they'll be without Ryazantsev and Garay, Hulk and Danny are back att Zenit, and that will make them stronger compared to the first duel

Zenit couldn't rely on four suspended players in the first duel against Sevilla - Anyukov, Smolnikov, and the very important Hulk and Danny. Regardless, Zenit managed to score the goal. Zenit played Kuban this weekend, it ended with no goals scored, but that tie shouldn't worry them because the other competitors didn't get points, so the points difference remained the same. 

- The players' absences are a big problem to any coach. Now Ryazantsev and Garay can't play, but Hulk, Danny, Anyukov and Smolnikov are back. We want to win, we know how important this match is, and we'll do our best - the home team's coach, Andre Villas-Boas, said. He commented on the opponent: 

- I don't want to talk about Sevilla's weak spots - let's just say we're studying our opponent. We'll play an offensive football because our important starters are back, but that doesn't mean we're going to forget the defense.

With Garay and Ryazantsev who are suspended, Fayzulin and Mogilevets are also out for Zenit, but that won't be a problem.

Unai Emery made a mistake in the first match, but luckily for him, he became aware of it after 45 minutes. He started with a versatile lineup against Zenit, and after the first half-time, which was easy to forget, he went to the locker room as a loser. Emery brought in Denis Suarez, Stephane M'Bia and Carlos Bacca in the second half-time. They're the three irreplaceable forwards, and they turned the match around, creating a minimum difference they'll try to defend in Sankt Peterburg today.

Sevilla's priority now is the championship, where they're trying to get the position for the Champions League. They had a chance to take Valencia off of fourth place this weekend. The difference was only reduced and the Bats weren't lowered down on the league table, so nobody was really happy with the tie in Granada.

The center back Nicolas Pareja announced the duel against Zenit. He played for Moscow Spartak when Unai Emery lead them: 

- Zenit are one of the biggest Russian clubs, a lot has been invested in them, and they want to be successful in European competitions. The first match showed how uncomfortable they can be, and they'll be even stronger today, with few of the starters back. We have an advantage, so we have to play a clever game first of all. We wanted to come to Russia with a bigger advantage, but this is good, too. Unfortunately for us, things are still completely open. 

Emery doesn't have any important absences to deal with, only the third goalie Mariano Barbosa and Sebastian Cristoforo, but they've been gone for a while. The defender Daniel Carrica is questionable, but even if he doesn't play, it won't be a handicap. Even though the coach can rely on the rest of the team, the Spanish media report the lineup you can find below. The three starters who turned around the first match are out again.

The Spaniards were shocked upon coming to Russia, because of the temperature difference. When Sevilla's players took the plane in Andalusia, the temperature was a bit above 30°, and less than 10° welcomed them in Sankt Peterburg.
