Milano need this win in order to keep their chances of reaching quarterfinals alive

Given Milano's performances in Top 16 so far, it is not surprising that this is a make-or-break game for them. Their performances home at Medionalnum Forum, where they recorded 4 defeats, are the main reason they are in this predicament now. Milano recorded their first win only two rounds ago over Unicaja 90-86.

- We we be very determined because we know what kind of a team Laboral are. They can play anyone, they are athletic, fast, and have good three-point shooting. We need to play at a high level.

Milano lost the first head-to-head 102-83 and given the fact Laboral are their direct rival in the race for quarterfinals, Milano will, as difficult as it may be, have to try and make up for that 19-point deficit. Brook believes they can make that happen:

- They beat us in the first game and we need to do better today. We have been doing really well lately and it's high time that we finished Top 16 at a high level.

 Even though they are just on the verge of the playoff zone in both of the competitions they're playing, Laboral are dealing with the challenges quite well. They are in an extremely close race with Efes in Euroeague, while managing to get two wins ahead of Gran Canaria in the Spanish championship. They recorded the last win easily - beating their opponents by 30 points away. Even coach Navarro was amazed:

- We played great from the start, especially in defense. You couldn't even tell we had to do without some players. I'm very happy with this game - coach Navarro said.

Laboral should be complete today since Shengelia can play European games, while Hansbrough recovered from an injury and might play today. He was warming up for the last game as well but then decided not to play. He might be helpful in his team's chase after Efes and in this demanding road game:

- Milano have good chance if they win the last three games. They are athletic and efficient home, and impressive at each position. They are playing with much more energy home than away. Our efficiency was extremely high in the first head-to-head and we cannot count on that again. We need to fight and try and win this important game - Navarro said.

Adams and James' speed should be Laboral's upper hand, just like rebounding, in which they dominate in most games. Milano are less than impressive in that segment with Kleiz and Melli. Bertans scored 19 points in the first game in Milano and will once again be a mismatch:

- I think we can play Milano even though this is a road game. We proved that a few times this season. We have to prepare good quality defense because we can handle  anyone on the offensive end - Bertans said.

Winning is extremely important for both teams and we are not to expect a run-and-gun game that will finish at 100 points like the first head-to-head. Milano and Laboral are very close quality-wise and we could see a dramatic finish here.
