Inzaghi: This is no ordinary game

Both coaches point out that this is a very important game despite it not being significant result-wise. Real are to do without Ramos, Marcelo, and Modric, while the Italians don't have everyone at their disposal either

Real will finish the year as the best team in the world. They won the Club World Cup recently and will now face Milan in a friendly match in Dubai. Milan are coach Ancelotti's former team:

- Given everything I've lived through at Milan, this is a very important match for me. I have a great relationship with their coach who used to be my player. I am truly looking forward to this since this is after all a meeting between two most successful teams in the world when it comes to titles. Quality is abundant on both sides and that will make for an interesting match.

Real didn't prepare for Milan as fiercely as they normally do:

- I didn't want to put too much strain on my players last week, most of them needed some rest. We're happy with what we did this season but that doesn't mean will take Milan lightly. Wins acquire new wins and each matters, even the ones in friendly matches.

Ancelotti took 22 players to UAE, but Ramos, Marcelo, and Modric aren't among them.

Unlike the Spanish team that is setting all kinds of records this season, Milan is having a mediocre season, with their players not giving them too much hope for the future. This might be an unofficial game but it could be a chance for them to improve the atmosphere on the team a bit.

Inzaghi used to be Milan's leading striker when Ancelotti was in charge. That is precisely what Milan lack today - a good-quality striker. Torres turned out to be a mistake and is set to get back to Atletico.

Milan should be in a 4-3-2-1 tactical formation, with Menet as the center forward and Honda and El Shaaraw behind him. Midfield is definitely a problem for Inzaghi, with Montlivo, Poli and De Jong lacking creativity. We have to wait and see how they plan to do anything against the mighty Real. It seems like destruction and defense will be their key tasks today.

Inzaghi can't count on defenders De Sciglio, Abate, Rami, and young midfielder Ginkel.
