Stuttgart are bursting with confidence ahead of this match. There's no doubt they are currently the team in the best shape in Germany

Exactly 14 days ago these two teams met in Stuttgart in a championship match, and today they will play an even more important one; this is the cup semi-finals meeting. Ines Bathen, Munster's captain, said enough about it:

- For us this is the match of the year! To play the cup finals would be a dream come true.

In the championship head-to-head Stuttgart were better with 3-1 (25-22, 20-25, 25-22 and 25-21). Because of injuries, two of Munster's important players missed that match - Petrausch and Benson. It was a meeting in which Stuttgart's block was perfect, and their offense was also colorful.

- Munster were a tough nut today. It's hard to beat them, they are a team who never give up - said Stuttgart's coach Hernandez after the win against Munster.

Tonight they will be even tougher because they will be playing in front of their fans, stronger with Petrausch and Benson who returned in the championship match against Postdam. Surprisingly, Munster won that match in three sets. It was a meeting with a lot of errors on both sides, and Munster managed it better in the end.

- I see Stuttgart as a slightly better favorite in our match; they're currently the hottest Bundesliga team. We played against them recently, and they justified their favorite role, but this time we're the hosts. There's no need to motivate the girls i a special way, we have a huge chance, we're two wins away from winning the cup - Munster's coach Buring thinks home court should be an advantage.

Stuttgart are full of self-confidence for this match. There's no doubt they are currently the team in the best shape in Germany. They won the last six matches, and in the last two months they've lost a single away match against Schwerin in the fifth set. In the last away match they won against Wiesbaden in the fifth set, showing once more that they're a strong team, equally so on each position.

Against Wiesbaden they've shown a great defense and a various offense. Captain Renkema led them with 22 points. The coach gave them a few days off because of Christmas, although that isn't always a good thing for teams like Stuttgart. We'll see if the break will reflect negatively on their game, or will everything remain the same. They have no problems with injuries.

Munster were at the time without two important players who will play today, and it's all going to be on their home court. Logic tells us that Stuttgart will reach a win even harder today. I don't expect anyone to win this match in three sets. The stakes are high, the win guarantees the cup finals, very appreciated in Germany. Both sides will be very nervous, there are going to be some oscillations, and this favors this bet. Two weeks ago neither of the teams, in neither o the sets, didn't win less than 20 points, and that speaks volumes of how equal they are. The border of points number is very low here, I wouldn't dare to guess the winner here, but points over is a bet worth more than the standard.
