Stuttgart are in great form which the win over Schwerin last Tuesday only went to confirm. They are now in the runner up spot and want points today to cement it against Wiesbaden who will be advancing to playoffs from the 4th place

Stuttgart recorded another win in what is turning out to be a brilliant season. Schwerin were defeated at Stuttgart's Scharren arena in four sets and lost their spot in the table to Stuttgart, who are in the runner up spot with two more rounds to go.

- The arena exploded after the last point, our fans' support gives us immense energy - team captain Renkema said after the match.

It was the 8th consecutive win for Stuttgart who ended Schwerin's winning streak. They finished the game with 48% of attacking efficiency, 14 block-points, and 4 reception errors. It was a truly brilliant performance, with 5 players finishing with double-digit points, which says Stuttgart have diversity and that makes them very dangerous.

- As long as we do this, the arena will be packed - director Lobmuller said.

His team has been injury-free this season and that is another reason for such good performances. They will be complete today and looking to extent the winning run and cement the runner up spot two rounds before the end of regular season. They beat this opponent after a great battle away and five sets in the first part of the season. They met in Cup round of 16 as well and Stuttgart won 15-13 in the fifth set.

- Stuttgart are a good team, they would not have won all those games if they weren't - Wisbaden's middle blocker Schaperklaus said.

Visitors played Munster on Wednesday home and won. It was a match that only cemented them in spot 4 and made it very clear that is where they will finish regular season. The match did, however, restored some of the confidence Wiesbaden lost after the defeat to Schwerin last weekend in straight sets.

- We already played in Stuttgart this season, we lost in the Cup. They attack well with Sandor, Harms, Renkemu, but we can play them if we fight. We need good offense and good reception to be able to have good attacks - coach Vollmer said.

Stuttgart's motivation will run higher since they play to secure the runner up spot, while Wiesbaden already know they will finish regular season as the fourth best team.
