Oklahoma's seven-game winning run might come to an end tonight

Thunder limit their opponents to 93.1 points on average on the winning run and should not be lacking motivation today since they play the top team from the West, who will want to get back on track after edning their 16-game winning run in Memphis

Golden State Warriors' 16-game winning run has finally ended in Memphis when the tough home team beat them 113-100 on Tuesday.

- We won 16 straight games - that doesn't' happen often. It was a great run, but everything has to come to an end. We didn't expect to win 60 straight games - Green said after finishing with only 4 points. He added 10 rebounds and 6 assists as well.

Steve Kerr's men took a 30-24 lead late in the first quarter, but the Grizzlies then went on a 20-0 run. Golden State got very close with five minutes on the clock (90-89), but couldn't stop their first defeat since November 11th from happening.

- We know it was a run this franchise never had. It was ended but we need to move on. We'll be fine. It was fun while it lasted - Curry said. He combined 63 points in the last 2 games before finishing with only 19 on Tuesday, 9-for-25 from the floor.

Memphis limited the Warriors to field goal efficiency of only 41.1%, which is their second worst efficiency in the season. Klay Thompson's good performance didn't help (22 points) while Speights added 18.

Andrew Bogut's absence in the key was very obvious. He would have helped in stopping Marc Gasol and would have helped with a few points as well. The Warriors had only 18 assists compared to 14 turnovers in Memphis.

Golden State will have to do without Bogut and David Lee again (hamstring), but Lee has been out for a while now. The Warriors won 8 out of the last 9 home games, including 6 in a row, but the run won't be easy to extend today since they meet Oklahoma tonight, a team that started the season on a 3-12 record to go on and win nine out of the next ten games, including 7 in a row.

Ever since Durant and Westbrook got back on the team, Oklahoma starter the chase after playoff. They cannot afford too many mistakes till the end. Their last game was a 104-92 win over Sacramento on Tuesday. Oklahoma got 16 points up in the first quarter, but the Kings wouldn't let go and managed to take the lead with eight minutes on the clock. Thunder then scored 15 while allowing the opponents to record only 4 goals to settle the game.

- I think we did well in defense. There were some bad moments, but I think we did a good defense job overall - Kevin Durant said after spending season-high 35 minutes on floor to record 26 points (12-for-25 from the floor).

Westbrook added 32 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 assists in just over half and hour on the floor. He's been averaging 27.8 points with shooting efficiency of 50.9% since he got back after an injury. Durant's been recording 21.5 points in the last 8 games since his debut. It seems his time on the court is not longer restricted.

Despite having those two excellent shooters, Oklahoma still rely on defense. They have been limiting the opponents to only 93.1 point and field goal efficiency of only 40.2% during the winning run. The Warriors won the first head-to-head game, but Thunder were forced to do without half the team back them.

- We have another game ahead that is a chance for making progress. They are a great team, currently top table in the West. It won't be easy, it should be a fun matchup - Durant said.
