Anaheim defeated in St. Louis last night

The visitors lost in St. Louis last night and now travel to meet Dallas, who lost the last two games, conceding a total of 11 goals

The Dallas Stars were defeated in Long Island first and then went to St. Louis for the second consecutive defeat. Despite taking the lead three times, Dallas couldn't stop the Blues from equalizing and in the end failed to stop Tarasenko to score his third goal in over time for St. Louis' win.

- The Blues are a good team and definitely had some attempts throughout the game, but they didn't create them, we did it for them - coach Ruff said.

- Enough is enough. I think we've had three of them at home where we've had leads in the third period. In order to be an elite team that we used to be, we need to find ways to get the job done - Daley said.

Dallas can count on forward Nichushkin again, which means only defensemen Gonchar and Nemeth remain off the team.

Following a tough defeat to the Sharks home, Anaheim went to Chicago to make amends with a 1-0 win. Preventing the opponent with such massive offense potential from scoring is a huge success. But, the Ducks then went on to play the Blues and didn't score any goals to lose 2-0.

Dallas won the Chicago game undeservedly only to record a well-deserved defeat in the next game. The Blues took an early lead and then scored another goal early in the third period. Despite being down, the Ducks didn't start firing at St. Louis's goal frantically like they normally do. They recorded a total of only 24 shots, all of which saved by Jake Allen.

- When a team can't count a few players, the others do their best to make up for it which leads to an even better performance. That is exactly what happened in St. Louis. If we're not ready to start working hard, we won't be winning - coach Bruce Boudreaus said.

He can't count on defensemen Lovejoy and Souray, and forwards Maroon and Palmieri, but none of those absences are crucial.
