Sevilla's sport director: We're in a bad state

Sevilla can't respond to the opponents' strength and aggressiveness, and today, there'll be plenty of that on the Canaries. So, makes sense to expect to see Sevilla's young players struggle again

Gran Canaria recovered from the defeats against Valencia and got two pretty wins in the last week. The one from the away game in Murcia is especially important because they're direct rivals in the fight for the highest place possible, and they got that win in an away game and the overtime. A dream paradise for any coach. 

It will be even better if today they confirm what they have predispositions for, especially knowing that they will host the team that is the last one in the league. But, the home team definitely won't relax, if for nothing else, then because of Sevilla's coach. Auide Norris is a former player of today's Gran Canaria coach, Aito Reneses. Reneses lead him in Barcelona's shirt about 20 years ago, and he definitely respects his former player:

Today, Gran Canaria should be without Dajuan Summers who has a groin injury, and Bellas is questionable, as well. But, he's expected in the lineup after the physiotherapist's intervention. Gran Canaria look really convincing at home, and we can expect them to continue that rhythm against Sevilla today. 

Sevilla became a favorite guest on the Spanish courts. They even started losing points on their own court lately. Their last defeat was completely unexpected, at home against Manresa in a match where they conceded 13 three pointers, allowed 12 offensive rebounds and didn't use a great advantage they were supposed to have in the paint. The team's director, Galilea, expressed his concerns:

- The team are in a very bad state right now. As soon as our opponents outplay us physically, we get lost and it's like we're not on the court. I understand this is in part due to the youth and lack of experience, but we have to start solving that.

That doesn't mean he'll part ways with the coaches Roth and Norris yet, Galilea showed he still trusts them. Today's match will be important because of the direct duel between the Urtasun brothers who play important roles in their respective teams.
