Gazprom Ugra are the favorite today according to the bookmaker, only I can't really understand why. Granted, Fakel are a weaker team in financial troubles, but they're still a team that can reach the play off. Fakel's Bakun and Kolodinski are two great players, Krasnikov as well, just like their blockers Likhosherstov and Kritsky. While Fakel worked on getting the team function together well, Ugra waited for some players (Rodichev, Aleksiev, and Todorov) to get back on the team. Rodichev admits he is not 100% ready yet, and Ugra are not the same team without him. Aleksiev did only three sets so far, Todorov two games, while the home team did 13 or 14 games, giving themselves enough time for practicing. I think the bookmakers took the financial problems Fakel are currently experiencing into consideration when setting the odds. But, money does not play the games, the player do. I expected Fakel to be the favorite, that would be logical thing. Home team's win,therefore, certainly has value. Ugra have never won in Novy Urengoy and I don't' think they will today.
