Wenger celebrating his 18th year at Arsenal

Prandelli is still trying to come up with the best possible line up at Galatasaray while the challenges get increasingly tougher

Arsenal were outrun, outplayed and defeated in the group stage opening game with Borussia in Dortmund without even putting up a fight. The Gunners didn't do much better in the last championship round against Tottenham either. The bitter rival took the lead, with Arsenal forced to try and equalize. They managed to do so to get one point out of that game.

Arsenal can blame the tough fixture schedule in the opening month and a half for bad performances. They have done a few very demanding meetings both in the Premier League and Champions League. Now they face easier tasks, at least in theory.

The first one of those is Galatasaray in the second round of Group D. Arsenal need to win this game to get their chances of reaching the next round up. 

- The defeat in Dortmund was disappointing, but there are enough games and enough time left to make it right. We will definitely try and win all of the matches that follow - Wenger said. It's been 18 years since he took over at Arsenal. 

- It's a great honor and privilege to be in charge of such a big club for such a long time, but I have no time to look back now, I'll do it another time. Each game to come requires maximum focus and the pressure to be successful is huge - Wenger said. The list of absences is probably giving him headache. Ramsey, Arteta, and Giroud are very important for him, and Wilshere might not play either duo to ankle injury. He trained yesterday, but Wenger might not want to take any changes, at least not from the start.

- It's quite simple - we need to win all the home games and do one good away game to win ten points and go thorough to the next round. I believe we have the potential to get there and it will come out tonight against Galatasaray - Arsene Wengere said. He expects his players to put a lot of pressure on the opponent throughout the game. 

The visiting team got back a bit of the confidence they lost after beating Sivas. But, we can't really say that they outplayed the opponent. Prandelli is still organizing the team, and looking for the right combinations as the season gets more exciting. The Emirates will be their toughest challenge so far.

- We're playing a good, well-experienced opponent. We need to focus and control the game as much as possible. We know it will be tough, but we have faith in ourselves - the Italian coach said.

The head-to-head record with Arsenal gives them hope. They beat the English club in the UEFA Cup final in 2000 after the penalty shootout, and last August at a tournament in London (Drogba scored two late goals). Galatasaray went on to win that tournament.

The players are all more or less at Pradelli's disposal. He will try with the new 3-5-2 tactical formation today, with Melo as the center back and Snijder in midfield. He still has to decided whether to go with Pandev who might not be completely fit, or young Bruma as the striker. Hamit Altintop ill start on the bench after doing the opening 15 minutes on Saturday following a major injury.

- Arsenal and Dortmund are the favorites, but we won't give up. We didn't give up last year and it paid off. Working hard and not losing confidence is important - center back Chedjou said.
