Roethlisberger: We don't plan on stopping now

This is basically a must-win for both teams, especially the guests who would be eliminated from the race for the playoffs in case of a defeat

The Pittsburgh Steelers didn't start the season the best way, but they got stabilized on time and come to the 16th week as one of the two teams who have a wild-card. There's even a chance that they could win the AFC Central because there are small percentages between them and the top. Their last game will be against the Bengals, so they'll have a chance to take the top in a direct duel.

- We're trying to collect wins. We're playing against good opponents who draw the best out of us - the cornerback William Gay said.

Completely opposite to their tradition, the Steelers rely on the offense completely this season. That's not a bad call considering how they're doing. They won six out of the last eight games, and during those, they collected 424.9 yards and scored 33.1 points. NBA style, they formed a "big three" consisting of the quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, the receiver Antonio Brown and the running back Le'Veon Bell. All three are at the top of the league, or at least close to it in their categories, and this season, they also broke quite a number of club records.

- The playoffs started a few games ago for us. We had to play like that because the situation required it. In the last few weeks, we've been doing our best, trying to play our best football, and we don't plan on stopping now - Roethlisberger said after the last week's 27-20 win in Atlanta.

The Steelers score 35.0 on their Heinz Field. If they score at least 15 points in each of the remaining two games, they'll break the club record (416) set in 1979 when they went all the way. Tonight, the firm Kansas City Chiefs come to the legendary stadium. They really compromised their playoff chances with a series of three defeats which ended last Sunday when they crushed the Rayders 31-13. Since they're one of the eight teams after the wild card, the Chiefs will have to win the remaining two games, and at the same time, hope their opponents will stumble in at least one. 

- Every game is the playoffs for us right now. We don't have the right to give anything less than the maximum - one of the best running backs of the league, Jamaal Charles, said.

The Chiefs are one of the stranger teams, as confirmed by the data that Alex Smith passed for 18 touchdowns, and didn't catch any the wide receivers sent. The Chiefs receivers didn't catch the ball in the end zone for 17 matches, which evened them out with the Browns' (2008/2009) and the Broncos' (1971/1972) series, the longest ones since the leagues connected.

- The fact that they win games like that shows they're a very resourceful team - the home team linebacker Arthur Moats detected.

The KC guys can brag with one of the best defenses of the league, and they're especially good against the assists, they're actually the second in the league (199.2 y/g), so the home team will have a hard time setting up a rhythm unless Bell finds a few cracks on the ground.

- They've got a good defense. We have to watch a lot of tapes because they put a lot of pressure on the quarterback since they've got a good secondary. This will be one of the toughest tasks this season - Big Ben said.
