In September Brest beat one of the favorites for advancement to the first league, Nancy (nine home wins in 12 matches), and played a draw away against lively Nimes. They have a chance to get among the top 3 against weakened Arles, and with only winger Cuvillier missing, they're presenting their major reinforcement on offense, Mali national team member Samassa.
Arles have not lost in their last six matches, but tied three of their last four league games, and have not won an away match in a year. Naturally, they're coming to Brest to get a draw as well, but in the mean time they've sold their main defender Givet to Evian, his replacement Bonne got injured against Tours, and their key back Bocaly got suspended. They're also missing two of their most dangerous forwards, Larsen Toure i N'Gbakoutou. They lost 0-2 in Brest with a much stronger team this April.
