Gremio finally ended the row of three ties with no goals in the last round. It happened in the away match against Figueirense, they scored at the very beginning of the match, and the result stayed the same after that. It helped them keep up with the leading clubs, but to do more, they have to start winning in rows, especially in matches at home, like this one, even though Coritiba knew how to give them big trouble in the previous seasons. 

Today, Fernandinho should debut for the Tricolore. That will be the most significant change in the home team, where the center back Pablo Geromel and the defensive midfielder Riveros are coming back after they finished Friday's practice with no health problems.

Giuliano confirmed the status of the reinforcements in the last round, and now it's Fernandinho's turn to help the offense finally begin to function - they scored only 8 times in 11 rounds, but they can be proud at their defense who only conceded five goals, which means their matches are the ones with the smallest number of goals total. Coritiba will try to get inspiration for this duel from the matches they played well against Gremio in the previous seasons, especially last year when their only away win until the last round was against Gremio, whom they defeated at home 4-0. Today, as expected, the advantage is on Gremio's side, if not for the obvious quality, then for the duels between the two that usually ended with the home team's win.
