He confirmed fine form, stormed by a domestic player with a wild-card. The Dutch didn't get a chance on the return until the end of the match, but he was still empty-handed. With that, Muller has been great on return this and past week, which is usually not his characteristic. He was as convincing as always on his serve. 

- I lost a serve at the start of both sets, and it is hard to keep up against such server, who does not give any rhythm - said Griekspoor after the defeat. 

He lost both of his head-to-heads against Top 20 players this season, but last season he had 6-13 record. He also defeated Tsonga on outdoor hardcourt, and his tennis come to the fore in conditions like these.

He defeated last year's top youth player with some inconsistencies. He made a comeback after being down a break in the first set, he missed the break-point chance for a lead twice in the second set, including serve for the match. 

- Even though I missed the serve for the match, I think I played a good match. I am pleased - said the Frenchman after advancing through the first round, and then talked about an opponent much more dangerous than the young Greek:

- Muller is very dangerous indoor and he has been playing great this season. Perhaps the best in his career, so it will be difficult.
