Robredo: I practiced a bit, I'm still not at 100%

The Spaniard had a break from February to September of last season. This season, he has not played a single match yet. Fognini's craziness and brilliance has been talked about a lot and we once again had a chance to see it in Davis Cup where he made a comeback from 0-2 against Pella in the fifth set

Robredo

If there is a player who knows what injury struggles are, it's Robredo. The most recent is big toe injury which forced him to undergo surgery. He had a long break since February until September and has not played a single match this season yet. He is now outside of Top 500 and currently has protected ranking here. 

- There was pain, I had problems with nerves. After just two minutes, I would not be able to stand on that foot anymore - Tommy said. His goal is to get back in Top 100 but things are the way they are at the moment:

- I didn't practice much. I'm not at 100% either physically or mentally. Regardless of that, I want to play and see where I am compared to others. I want to compete.

To say that it's not known where he is at the moment would be an understatement.

Fognini

The Italian has been in Buenos Aires since the last weekend. He was on the Italian DC team which beat Argentina. Fabio got them the last, 5th point. We once again had a chance to see the combination of craziness and brilliance that he is. The first two sets were not good but the last three were brilliant. You really never know with him. 

- I'm happy because I gave it my best. I played badly, waited for a long time to find my game and it feels great to win - Fabio said. 

He is definitely one of those players who couldn't wait for the start of this South American tour. It's no wonder since he played the final here in 2014 and has lost the first round to Delbonis last season. That's Fognini. 

Robredo and Fognini know each other well. They are 4-4 in head-to-head meetings. Fognini won the last match. It was here in 2014 semis. Robredo is not in a good situation, while Fognini always lives in his special world.
