The Brit is in a great form and is coming with a 7-match winning streak against Wozniacki to whom the opponents Rodionova and Vekić weren't that big of a test. The Brit is the favorite because of her momentum, but Wozniacki's been one of the best players for years

Caroline can be pretty satisfied with her results so far. She only let Rodionova get three games in the first round, and Vekić four in the second. The Dane played a great match, even more aggressively than usual because she saw that Donna is not ready to take this heat and the result was what it was. The Croat's movement was always suspicious, and Caroline ended the match with 21 winners, which isn't that common when the match is this short.

- I knew what I can expect from her, we practiced together and we know each other. I feel well, I'm hitting well at the practice, too. I think I played well today, maybe even a bit passive in the end. Generally, this is good tennis. I'm playing well right now and I'm looking forward to new challenges - Wozniacki said.

New challenges are going to be tougher. After these two players, she's only now getting a true test - Konta's been playing great tennis lately.

The Brit's in a 7-match winning run. After the title in Sydney, she beat Flipkens here, and then the tricky Osaka. The way she did it and the confidence she showed are magnificent, and you can see she's definitely got the momentum:

- I like playing these courts and I look forward to staying here as long as possible. Naomi is a up-and-coming player who's gotten impressive results in the last years. I knew I'd have to fight for every point. I'm happy I got through in straight sets. She's a great server and a tall hitter. I felt that I got a few free points at the serve and that took away some of the pressure - Konta said. Her score this year is 10-1.

Even though these are Top 10 players, a former and current Top 10 player, they never played each other. Konta is the favorite because of her form, but Wozniacki's been at the top for years.
