Wawrinka did as he was supposed to here but his performances did nothing to amaze me. He won both matches in straight sets but it should have been more convincingly against players like Estrella and Sousa. Verdasco already played 10 sets here against much better opponent. He has a lot of experience and high motivation. His serve is good and he can win this if he plays without too many ups and down. His game is aggressive and Wawrinka will most likely be late for a lot of shots, especially on return. Verdasco is doing his best as the underdog and I think this will be very close match. Verdasco know what to do to in matches like this one given his experience.
