Just like yesterday, I think the bookies have once again overrated Moldova. They didn't do much yesterday. Granted, they hit 63 points against Ireland (allowed 100) but that was a fast-paced game. Moldova had 40 turnovers, Ireland 90 shots.
Kosovo played a close quarter with Croatia and lost the rest of the game 80-26, including the 30-0 in the last quarter. Croatia are better than them in every segment of the game and it's also possible that Kosovo were a bit surprised at how helpless they were and in turn fell apart completely. Kosovo have the chance to be Croatia today. I have no doubt they will be very motivated to make up for that defeat yesterday. Kosovo targeted Moldova 116-58 at U18 last year. Compared to that competition, there will 15 of the same players here today. Kosovo finished the competition in spot three behind Azerbaijan and Andorra (Moldavia finished 8th out of 9 teams). T-hey beat San Marino 86-54 and 100-57 (Moldavia lost 78-68), Wales (Moldavia lost 69-62), Malta 110-61 (Moldavia lost 87-79). I think the difference in quality is there. Kosovo are not worse than Ireland in my opinion and Ireland trashed Moldavia yesterday.
