The team under at Puerto Rico will be at around 66 (32-33 per half) and judging by their first game with Egypt, they will probably not go over that. Compared to last year's U18 FIBA Americas, they are without three stop scorers and some other players. With those three, this is how they did at FIBA Americas in the first halves: US 26, Chile 28, Virgin Islands 35, Canada 28, Brazil 28. It was only 27 by half time with Egypt yesterday, 65 in the end.
Germany played a run and gun game with Lithuania here, conceded 100 and put themselves in a tricky situation. If they lose here, they could end up as last team in the group and face France, which is something no one wants.
They played good defense in test games and are definitely capable of that. They conceded over 70 only once, having limited Spain to 61, allowed 80 to Italy in the first one and then 50 and 51... I expect them to be much tougher from the start here which should get Puerto Rico in trouble. They are not very good when it comes to shooting and don't have proper front court.
