Pioli's reborn Inter want to play in the Cup final

Bologna are coming to Milano decimated. Only reserve goalkeeper Carrizo having injury problems for Inter

Inter recorded five back-to-back championship wins and it is evident that the club did a great job by hiring new coach Pioli. Inter's players have been showing great character over the past weeks, and Perisic has become fans' true hero this year, his goals in the final moments of games against Udinese and Chievo were the deciding ones. Pioli has a nice chance to continue the winning run throughout January, since they have championship games against bottom-placed Palermo and Pescara, and we shouldn't doubt that Inter will go into the Cup game against Bologna highly motivated, since they can win a trophy in that competition. 

Pioli does not plan on underestimating the Cup:

- This is an important competition, we are four games away from the final, which is our goal. Inter's fans love Inter and they have to know that the team will give their max in this game. Only reserve keeper Carrizo is having injury problems in Inter, but it is expected that Pioli will make some changes in the starting lineup from the game against Chievo. Brozovic should start in midfield again, he missed the previous game due to suspension, and Nagatomo and Santon could get a chance on the wings, and Eder and Gabigol are waiting for a chance to start in offense. 

Bologna have not been great this season and they are having a lot of problems with scoring, but Donadoni's team has regularly been defeating teams from the red zone at the table, and that is why they can be calm ahead of the following games. Bologna suffered a heavy defeat at Juventus, but away wins at Pescara and Crotone are more important for Donadoni.
