Coach Kidd: There is no reason to panic

The Bucks are on a 5-game winning run and they are now to face a team which trashed them 111-92 last Wednesday when Harden hit 38 points

After losing Middleton just before the start of the season, the Bucks were no longer expected to reach the playoffs. However, they won 20 out of 38 opening game but then went on a 5-game losing run, which dropped them in spot 10, one win short of the Bulls, who hold spot 8. 

- There are still a lot of games to be played. There is no reason to panic - coach Kidd said.

He has had a turbulent 3-game road trip which they finished on Saturday with a 109-97 defeat to Miami. Two changes in the starting five didn't help much. One of them was a disciplinary measure against Parker, who shared some details from the team meeting with the media, which coach Kidd didn't appreciate. Thon Maker started instead of him and hasn't done great.

- I spoke out for the first time and things didn't go my way. They insulted me but at least I gave them a different perspective - Parker said. He still spent 32 minutes on the floor during which he recorded 16 points (7-for-18), 7 rebounds and 4 assists. 

The second chance was regarding the point guard position. Coach Kidd gave Dellavedova a start to try and restore his confidence, while at the same time allowing Brogdon and Monroe to spend more time on the floor together.

- I didn't do well, I need to be better on both ends of the floor. We need to get our of this. Winning is tough, that is why it's worth fighting. We can do everything better but I'd say we're not as good in defense as we were at the start of the season. We constantly talk and watch videos. But we simply need to get out and be better - Dellavedova said. He hit 15 points and added 7 assists against Heat. 

The Australian will most likely start tonight as well, just like Parker. Both will have to do very well since they face the Rockets, who got into a bit of a crisis after a great period in which they won 22 out of 25 games. They suffered the 5th defeat in the last 7 games on Saturday when they lost 125-108 in Memphis. We do have to take into consideration the fact they played the Warriors the previous day and lost 119-95.

- We had uncontested shots but we didn't hit them - Harden said. He hit 29 points (7-for-9), with 6 rebounds and 10 assists. 

Sam Decker did brilliantly, having hit 30 points with 12-for-19 shooting in his first start ever. He will probably not get 35 minutes today since Anderson is expected to get back. He missed the last two games.

The Rockets are 17-8 home this season. Last Wednesday, they trashed the Bucks home 111-92. Harden hit 38 points, while Antetokounmpo hit team-high 32 on the other side.
