The Warriors will be pretty motivated tonight because the Rockets beat them in Oakland 132-127 at the beginning of December, after two overtimes

No doubt that the Houston Rockets are the best surprise of the season so far. They're the third team in the West right now behind the untouchable two, and will most likely defend their position considering that the Clippers, who are the fourth, are struggling with lots of injuries. 

After winning 22 of 25 games, Mike D'Antoni's guys lost three of four, but got back on track on Wednesday when they beat the Bucks in a home game, 111-92. As expected, it was an interesting duel full of great looking moves, and those who love blocks could've enjoyed themselves because there were 20 total.

The Rockets struggled a bit in the first period, but made up for all of that in the next 12 minutes that they won 30-12, securing the nice lead of 13 points after the first half. The second half was also theirs. They looked especially impressive in the defense that limited the Bucks to only 39.8% shots from the floor.

- That was the key to the game. I think we're realizing that in order for us to get to where we want to go, we have to get stops. When we get stops, we are 10 times better - James Harden said. He was brilliant again with 38 points (14/25), six rebounds and eight assists.

After having only seven points the night before in Miami (3/17), Eric Gordon was brilliant on Wednesday with 25 points (9/20) and 7/17 three-pointer shots, making up for Ryan Anderson's absence, who missed his second game because he's sick.

That pushed the Rockets to 17-4 score in their Toyota Center where they're going to host the phenomenal Golden State Warriors today. This will be the beginning of the Warriors' four-game road trip. Their ninth win in the last ten games took place on Wednesday when they beat the Thunder 121-100 in a home game, and they broke the match with a great third period, winning it 37-22.

Kevin Durant played a brilliant game, hitting 40 points, 12 rebounds, four assists and three blocks with 13/16 hots from the floor, including 5/7 three-pointers against his former team.

- The efficiency of this guy is just amazing. He's not going to win the MVP because there are a lot of people out there who are playing extremely well. But I don't think anybody's more efficient. He doesn't need the ball and he still scores big numbers - Warriors coach Steve Kerr praised Durantula. 

Steph Curry was good, too, with 24 points (9/19) and eight assists. Klay Thompson helped with 14 points (5/12), and Draymond Green hit 12 points (5/9), with 11 rebounds, five assists and three blocks.

The Warriors are going to be pretty motivated today because the Rockets beat them in Oakland at the beginning of December, 132-127 after two overtimes. Harden and Anderson hit 29 points each, Gordon 23, and Durant was the most efficient player on the other side with 39 points, and Curry and Thompson hit 28 and 20 respectively.
