Zvezda's form is amazing, Belgrade is euphoric and they are now to face one of their most bitter rivals. Zvezda will try and record their 12th straight win. We need to say that they allowed over 73 points in just one out of the last 15 games

To find the biggest surprise of this season we don't have to look past Belgrade. Zvezda don't cease to amaze and already have 11 wins. They were underdogs in almost all of those games.

The defense is the key to their brilliant results. They were faced with one of the top offensive ends in Europe and limited Baskonia to just 69 points. They had a 20-point lead for the most part of the game, which is almost unfathomable. No other team has done that to Baskonia in Spain this season. 

It was Zvezda's 11th straight win, the 14th in the last 15. Let's just say that they allowed over 73 points in just one out of those 15 games, which is simply amazing. Today's game is especially important for the fans since they do not like Panathinaikos. The arena was sold out in 15 minutes:7

- It's expected. The fact they were sold out so fast talks about the importance of the game. I hope the players will feel good with so much support. 

They will need the support because their schedule is extremely busy and demanding, even despite the fact they have a lot of rotations:

Singleton was capable of 20 minutes, during which he hit 10 points and added 4 rebounds, while hitting 3 three pointers in three attempts. Borousis was crucial as he finally got over 30 minutes on the floor in the last two meetings. He finished the Barcelona game at 14 points, 11 rebounds and 2 blocks. 

Calathes is no longer at the level from the first part of the season so he stayed under 10 points against Barlcona as well. He sat the final part of the game our, while Mike James organized the game. 

James will be a great help for Panathinaikos since they didn't have them in the first meeting with Zvezda which they won 70-59. Gabriel and Gentile are there as well. Gist, who hit 17 points in the first H2H, is not at team's disposal. Zvezda will count on Thompson in the paint but the very important Dangubic is out. 

- Zvezda have the best form in Euroleague and play by far the best defense. They beat all the big European teams this season. We know how tough it will be. We need to control the pace and rebounding to prevent them from getting second chances - Pascual said.

He said Jovic, Simonovic and Kuzmic are their key players. It seems like Panathiakos have some great solutions there because Calather and Feldine/Nichols can do a very good job in defense to cause trouble for Zvezda. Borousis is the key player. If he closes the paint up and stops Kuzmic from rebounding, Zvezda will be in trouble. Baskonia and Zalgiris the something like that here, which results in rare home defeats for the Belgrade-based team.
