I waited for some new information about Polpharma's best players' suspension being lifted, but that didn't happen last night, which means the away team in Dabrowa Gornicza will be very weakened. Their leaders, backs Hicks and Miles, are missing today's match. Together they're on an average of around 30 points, last weekend at home without them they lost to the unconvincing Szczecin with 17 points of difference, they significantly fell in the second half.
Dabrowa are a team who so far left a better impression in second halves, under Anzulovic they're pretty aggressive, they have the width and at home they're very uncomfortable. Their home record is 6-1, they beat Assec with +23, Lublin with +20, Anwil with +14, they also beat at home Stelmet and Rosa, Trefl with +37 in the last championship, even though they were weakened. Today center Parzenski is back, in the meantime they brought back shot Wesley (in Kataja at the start of the season 15 points on average in Champions League), and coach polpharme Budzinauskas points out that except Hicks and Miles it's not sure whether the injured center Sajus will help, lay Flieger is struggling with a flu, and wing center Markovic is also complaining of problems.
Such Pokpharma quality-wise are not on Trefl's level, to which they recently lost at home, and surely they're not on the level of Anwil, Assec, teams Dabrowa convincingly beat. In away games they fell to Turow with -26, they beat Stal, lost to Torun with -8, but the Hicks-Miles duo were leading the game, recently they lost in Lublin where Hicks-Miles recorded together 50+ points. All in all, we have a strong home team in very good shape, and very weakened away team, and I think Polpharma can't be equal opponents here, and that they will fall down significantly as the match goes on.
