I clearly underestimated Ulm last weekend. They didn't lose a single game to this day and Will clearly finish in the top spot. I would not be surprised if they win every game until the end. Brose are in a crisis. They lost 5 out of the last 6 games overall and have straight defeats to Bayern and Ulm and might not even finish in the second spot. Brose still have character and even though they can no longer make it into EL QF, they almost beat Darussfaka. The fact is, they are not in top form but realistically, defeats to Fener, Bayern, Baskonia, Ulm and Darussafaka aren't a problem. Brose are still miles ahead of most Bundesliga teams. The coach said they are bursting with confidence after the Darussfaka game and that he is proud. They didn't have problems away agaisnt weaker teams but do have the defeat to Ulm and Bayern. They beat Oldenburg away by 21 (11 at ht), Frankfurt by 19 (25), Rasta by 28 (10), Telekom 15 (11). Gottingen's coach said that his team cannot stand to top table teams after the last defeat to Bayreuth (-35, 31 at hf). They did well against Brose in Bamberg and still lost by 11. Brose were completely focused on EL back then and didn't do great in Bundesliga. Things are different now, they are focused on Bundesliga, they need to respond. The home team do not have the quality to stand up to top teams. They secured a spot in this league last round and cannot reach playoffs. The total handicap is as good an option as first half handicap.
