Fatigued Valencia looking for points against Leganes

Leganes recorded a big over over direct rivals last weekend and are now under much less pressure

After two big wins, coach Voro said the problem for his team could be accumulated fatigue. We can't claim that is why they lost in Vitoria but the fact is that they took the lead 70 minutes into the game to go on and concede two goals in the last 10 minutes. Their good run has ended but they are no longer in danger zone and the new coach has proven to be quite a good solution.

- We are to play one of the key meetings, a game against direct rivals. We've had a tough schedule and we need to react after the defeat in Vitoria. I hope the fans will come and support us to give us an extra boost. We've made tremendous progress lately but we still lack that one thing. That is first and foremost our inability to settle the game. We need to be smarter once we take the lead and the results will get continually better - Voro Gonzales said about the meeting with Leganes. 

Midfielder Orellana was sent off late in the Vitoria game and won't be there today. Santi Mina, Rodrigo Moreno and Nani are still out with injuries. Defenders Eliaquim Mangala and Martin Montoya suffered some nasty blows last round and might not play. 

Leganes had no wins since mid-November before trashing Deportivo in a direct clash of the danger zone. Looking at the stats, Deportivo were slightly better but Leganes were deadly this weekend and have basically turned their every chance into a goal. The team from Madrid recorded a convincing win to get ahead of La Coruna rivals and 4 points away from the danger zone.

- Beating Deportivo was a big deal but the week has only begun. We have three games to play and if we continue getting points, we could definitely leave the danger zone behind. We'll play without Erik Moran and Omar Ramos, which is a big problem for us. They are extremely important player but luckily, I have a few other solutions - visiting coach Garitano said.

Garitano didn't take Omar Ramos and defensive midfielder Morano to Valencia. Ibanez, Timor, Kone and Serantes have been out for a while now. Compared to the last round, center back Insua is back on the team.
