Valencia finally managed to record two wins

Judging by what coach Setien said, things aren't ideal at Las Palmas, even though results aren't that bad

Following the bad defeat in Barcelona, Las Palmas failed to beat Deportivo home. The team from the Canaries had an early lead in the last round and a somewhat better game but the visitors managed to equalize later on and got back home with a point. Las Palmas stayed far away from the danger zone but they are still far from European spots as well. 

Setien has definitely exceeded the expectations put before him by the board. That is why, according to the media, he might get a new contract. When asked about it this week, Setien was very honest:

- They can give me 10 million, if I'm not happy, I'm not staying. At the moment, I am not happy. A lot of things that anger me has happened in the last few weeks. A lot of people at the club have disappointed and annoyed me and getting past that is tough.

One of the people who disappointed him was Araujo, who was sent on loan to AEK in Greece this week. Clearly, there are a few more players Setien is not happy with. Since they acquired the young Croatian international Halilovic this week, Setien could be in for some more headache soon.

As for the players at his disposal for this game, Setien doesn't have any serious problems. Center back Bigas was questionable with a knee injury but since David Garcia definitely won't be there, Bigas will probably get a start. Center back Artiles won't be there today because he is out with a suspension. Kevin-Prince Boateng is back after a suspension, the aforementioned Halilovic will probably start on the bench. 

Valencia clearly needed just one win to get confidence and start playing according to expectations and their potential. After ending the losing run and the win over Espanyol, they managed to beat Villarreal 2-0 last round. Things seem to be looking up. No one is even thinking about being knocked out and they seem to be headed for a brighter future. 

Coach Voro is under less pressure now:

- The team is under much less pressure after the last two wins. The atmosphere was great at practice sessions this week but we know that we cannot get relaxed. We are to face another good team away. They like to control the game and play an active, offense-oriented game. Offensively, they are a very tough team. They do everything automatically and they are tough to stand up to. However, we finally proved who we are and what we can do. We aren't afraid of anyone. 

There is no change when it comes to the injury list - only defender Guilherme is still struggling with a minor injury. Even if he was healthy, he would not get a start today. Moreno has been injured from before, while Adbennour hasn't returned from the Africa Cup of Nations yet.
