No need to spend many words on this one. Lokomotiv are currently the best defense of VTB League and Eurocup, without a doubt. In VTB they allow 65 on average, and they left eight out of 11 opponents under the 70.5 margin. In the last three, versus Astana, Zenit and UNICS, they allowed 51, 62 and 64. Those numbers need no additional explanation. We can only add that between that in Spain, against Gran Canaria, they allowed 71, and then at home against Murcia 60. And we all know how Spanish play. Kalev's number are not under the wanted margin, but that doesn't matter because games against Novgorod, Jenisej and similar teams have no weight. At home against CSKA they recorded 68 with 24 in the last quarter when everything was over. Against Khimki at home they recorded 77, 24 in the last quarter. Against Zenit they remained at 73, last week against Riga at only 66. And those are all defenses under Lokomotiv's level. In 11 games of VTB League Lokomotiv only allowed over three times - CSKA 74, Saratov 74 and Khimki 73. And the offense of those teams can't fit in the same sentence with Kalev's.
