We'll go with the 26,5 of the first half more than with the total 53,5. Out of 16 away games Balingen played, 12 finished at under 26,5, 4 were overs: 30 against Goppingen, 27 against Kiel, 29 against Lowen and 27 against Leipzig. I think all of those are irrelevant. Erlangen have 10 unders at 26,5 in 15 games, in 5 of which they were down to Stuttgart 14-13 and 12-15 against Minden. Both were just a goal over. They met Stuttgart early in he season when they played much faster and often without a goal keeper so that's not a problem. Minden are their biggest home slip of the season. They lost the game because the approach was all wrong after 4 straight wins.
This is the game of the season for the visitors, they need 4 points until he end. They are very tough away - 11 out of 16 games are under 24,5. In the last 6 away games since December of last year, the only game that was at 24,5 was last weekend against Lowen where they tanked (Strobel didn't play). In that period, apart from the direct ribvals, they have the 11-10 lead against Melsungen and 11-10 against Hannover who are comparable with Erlangen. Haas is back on the home team, which is great for the defense. They had 10-12 against Flensburg a few days ago, they have 8 defeats in the last 10 rounds and they won't let this go. Half time is a bit better because Balongen know they can go all in in the second half. If Erlangen take a big lead, things could go badly.
I decided on the first half team under at Balingen because the stats match that perfectly. They didn't go over that in any relevant games this season and I think it's slightly better than the total first half under.
