Napoli reacted great after the defeat at Santiago Bernabeo since Sarri's team had no problems dealing with the uncomfortable Chievo in Verona. Insigne and Hamsik's goals from the first half resolved the question of winners of that match, and after Zielinski recorded another one from the distance, Napoli allowed Chievo only one complementary goal. It was an extremely important win for Napoli before a run of difficult upcoming matches. After Atalanta, Sarri's team are expected in a Cup away game against Juventus, championship away game against Roma, and the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 against Real Madrid.

For the match against Atalanta, Sarri can't count on the longer absent stopper Tonelli and midfielder Allano. It's questionable whether Sarri will make some rotations among the starting line-up since on Tuesday his team is up for a cup away game against Juventus, but no drastic changes are expected among the Napoli's standard starting eleven.

Even after the winter break and the big interest for numerous players, Atalanta still didn't slow down and they're sharing the fourth position, right behind Napoli. In the last four rounds Atalanta earned 10 points. They play with no result pressure, and they continue to thrill everyone. In the last round against bottom-table team Crotone, Atalanta didn't play the most memorable of matches, but after Peragna's and Conti's great actions, they recorded a goal worth three points. Before Gasperini's team are decisive matches for making it into Europe, since after the match against Napoli they have matches with direct rivals - Fiorentina and Inter.

Gasperini expects a similar match at San Paolo:

- I expected to see Napoli this high at the table, but this is all new for us. Our boys have been incredible so far and they deserve to play this game in a big and important ambient, the one that'll welcome us at San Paolo. We have no ambitions like Napoli do, but it's going to be nice. I fear the quality and game organization by Sarri's team. This is the decisive moment for all the teams since the games in February and March are worth somewhat more considering that they're the judgement of the entire season. Atalanta's goal? We have no pressure the way other teams have who are out competitors in the fight for Europe. We know the worth of our opponents and we have to demonstrate that we're capable of fighting until the very end. The most beautiful thing is to live in the present without thinking too much about the future.

The away team have no absence problems before the away game against Napoli, since Gasperini can't count only on the youg Cabezas and Melegoni, and the longer absent defender Konko. It is expected that Atalanta will again play in the 3-4-1-2 formation with Kurtic behind the prominent forwards Gomez and Petagna.
