Nykombing probably won't be making the same type of mistakes today and will have great help in fans. Home court is always an advantage for this team and has proven to give them extra quality. Teams much better than Odense struggled here. A high margin, but I'm pretty sure this will be a blowout. CSKA lost three in a row after winning 30 in a row, and will be fully motivated to prove they're still best in Europe right now. Those defeats were not due to a crisis of their performance but due to playing top level opponents and losing matches that could have gone both ways. The negative streak will only push them to be fully committed to winning throughout the match, in a performance Milano will be unable to parry. The Moscow team covered this handicap in 5 of their 8 home games this season, 13 of 18 at home if we count in VTB league matches, against teams such as Himki, UNICS; Maccabi, Unicaja... Although it might seem odd to bet on games over in the first set in women's tennis, I'm convinced there's a lot of value here. The first option I considered was the overall over, but the 22 game margin halted me there. The reason is both were convincing in the second round, and are not prone to ups and downs, so a 76 63 outcome would bring me nothing. This bet has much more value for several reasons. The serve is the first of them. Safarova has a tricky left-handed serve which spins out of court and is really tough to return well. On the other hand, Pliskova is one of the best in the Tour in terms of serving. Though she had the worst serving day in a long time against Beck, she still won 61% of serve points. That match is also not very relevant, as Pliskova played just enough to win. She never produced he full potential during that match, saving her strength instead. Berdych was dominant in the last match with Seppi, even though the outcome of the second set might lead us into a different conclusion. He is abusing the quick surface without mercy, though they deprive him of return chances too. He took three of the four sets played in the main draw into tie breaks, and took just one break in those last two matches. Anderson didn't play since Melbourne. He decided to take a break and was expected to not play until Delray Beach. But he got the wild card and decided to come here. He had the first round by and now faces the opponent I think is most challenging one, besides players who are seeded. The Australian gives the opponents no rhythm. He served well before, but now improved him return too and often goes on the net. He had only 45% of first serves against Lu, lost his service game twice, and still won easily. That kind of game style might be a great problem for Anderson who doesn't have rhythm and won't find it today. Groth will be in Top 50 in no time. Great servers Raonic and Muller struggled against him this season to lose to both in third set tie break. Maybe this match will end with a lot of games, but I'm going with the +2.5 at the Australian. Nishikori seemed a bit rusty yesterday and I think Anderson will have the same problem. His opponent will take advantage of it and I wouldn't be surprised if he wins. Either way, good server that Groth is and indoors condition make +2.5 a safe choice. Details
