Minnesota doing badly against the Clippers lately

Tired and decimated, they will have a tough task against the Clippers, who are getting better and who won their last 9 head-to-head games.

The Clippers haven't exactly had the best start to the season, but they didn't take long to remind us why they are often considered to be one of the three top teams in West. They opened the season on a 5-4 record after which they set off on a seven-game road trip to lose only in Memphis. They recorded the fourth consecutive win in Utah last Saturday (112-96) after beating the Rockets in a derby match the night earlier.

- This displayed our character because winning away is never easy. Some people were a bit worried, but we showed progress - Jamal Crawford said after scoring 22 points (8/17) in Utah.

The Clippers are recording 106.6-94-4 point difference on the road trip after scoring 101.6 points and conceding 102.7 in the previous 9 games. Also, their shooting percentage was 50.4 percent, the three point 41.6%. Those numbers were 45.6 and 34.2 in the first 9 games.

- It was a business trip. We were more free in the game and had excellent flow. Most importantly, the defense was very good - Chris Paul said after finishing with 17 points (7/13) and 10 assists.

Coach had only 10 players at his disposal but ended up losing to and had to do with only 8. Mo Williams finished with 21 point and 11 assists despite not feeling too well. 

- I'm playing for my team and I will do what ever it takes until some of the guys get back - he said.

The flu limited Wiggins to only 18 minutes on the floor, which Muhammad took advantage of to score 28 points and break his personal record. 

The NBA sometimes is very unpredictable, but the Wolves' chances are next to none today. Tired and decimated, they will have a tough task against the Clippers, who are getting better and who their last 9 head-to-head games.
