With quite a low margin, I doubt we will be seeing it in the continuing of the season when Olympiacos are going to play home matches against teams from the lower half of the chart. Olympiacos passed through a turbulent period in the first couple of weeks, but they're still the strongest Greek team and one of the competitors for Europe's very top. Only three days after the difficult defeat against Panathinaikos, which resulted in the coach being fired, Olympiacos crushed Apollon on home court with 82-56, considering the fact that it was 26 already after the third quarter. Kolossos is ranked with Apollon, but they aren't weaker. On Monday they were smoothly beaten by Panathinaikos with the result of 81-61, considering there were 18 points of difference on the halftime. Kolossos couldn't handle the Athens teams' firm defense, and today it will be even harder. Olympiacos are not the best in the offense part considering the season so far, but the defense is at a high level. After 56 against Apollon, they received 67 in Valencia, 67 in an away match against Kifisia and 57 against Kutxa two days ago. The defeat against Kifisia was a big wake-up call. Petway points out that they have to play a serious match from the first to the final minute. And such a defense should be the trigger for many counter-attacks in today's match. We shouldn't be missing points from the transition. Kolossos will hardly cope with the aggressiveness of home players, and they themselves are aware that they have nothing to search for here and it is to be expected that Koutalianos will spread the time spent in game evenly. I expect Olympiacos to be in their good shape and I expect a win with at least 25 points of difference.
