Home Glassverket, currently sharing second and third place with 10 points, meets Stabaek, ranked tenth after six rounds. Unlike last year, when Stabaek would usually win, Glassverket entered this season much stronger on several positions in the team and with plans and hopes of getting to the top four which are progressing along nicely. Their perimeter is held by two former junior gold medalists from the 2010 WC, Veronika Kristiansen and Noerstebo. With 14 goals Veronika Kristiansen was the best scorer for Norway next to Camila Herrem at the Golden League tournament last weekend, shich shows she is in great form. Another big reinforcement was Jeanett Kristiansen, arriving from Larvik this summer to the left wing, and is Glassverket's best scorer with 32 goals.

Stabaek on the other hand lost four key players, and the two replacements, goalie Silje Solberg and back Oftedal, were less experienced, which reflected on their results this season. They lost three matches against upper ranking teams by double digits, while Glassverket beat one of those in the championship, as well as Skrim, whom Stabaek lost to at home. Judging from the way home team are talking, they*re highly motivated to correct the bad tradition from earlier seasons. The least we can expect in this match-up of two teams that are worlds apart this season is a double digit lead victory.
