Bayern not conceded a single goal in seven games

The Munich club's performances are slowly reaching top-level, with them recording 8 wins in the last 9 games. They didn't concede a single goal in the last seven. Werder, on the other hand, are yet to record their first win this season

Bayern's rhythm doesn't seem to be disrupted by the international break, despite almost all of their players participating in their respective national team campaigns. 

According to the German media, Pep Guardiola is in for a month of truth, with the championship rounds that come being their opportunity to take the big lead in the table, and Champions League games that follow securing the next round for the Bavarian team. We have no particular reason to doubt Bayern will fail in either of those tasks.

- All the players have returned uninjured. Some are a bit happier, others are sad, but that shouldn't have any effect on out performances - Guardiola said.

Ribery had a chance to get better during the break, even though he probably won't still be given the start today. Alcantara's new major knee injury is horrible news since Bayern can't count on him for the next month.

Guardiola said it may have been a mistake to let him back in the game too early, but there's no point crying over spilled milk. 

Bayern beat Werder in their last 8 head-to-head games, having scored 18 goals in the last three. Winning today is clearly the Munich team's objective.

- It's not just about the points, it about the game as well. I want to see the progress - Guardiola said.

His line-up remains unknown but according to the media, a powerful line-up will take on Werder today.

Bremen have not recorded a single win this season. They started off with draws, continued with defeats, and managed to get back to draws as they met Feiburg in the last round. Allianz Arena is not really the place they could or should hope to record the first win this season.

- No one will place a single cent for our win. We will try and do our best, there will be no pressure on us today. We'll see if it works - midfielder Junuzovic said.

Coach Dutt spent most of his press conference talking about Poland and Ireland, the two teams that managed to get points against the mighty Germany. 

- Maybe we can do just like them today - he said.

In Bremen's attempts to surprise Bayern, the coach won't be able to count on a few players, but most of them have been out for a while. Werders's greatest problem are bad defense performances and that is definitively not good when you're about to meet Bayern. Let's hope Dutt managed to do something about it during the break.
