Although it's been a while since Keys performed really well, I'm convinced she will win this one. Cornet plays passive tennis, and the fact she is physically unprepared for three sets makes things even more difficult. She gets her points mostly through consistent baseline play, and if one starts cramping up at the start of the third set, this rings the alarm bells. Keys lost to Nara and Lisicki lately, but showed significant progress against the German. She can enter the court and end a rally with a strong hit, and Cornet's defensive tennis suits her well. The French player is not consistent enough to win based on Keys' unforced errors, so I believe Keys is closer to winning than the odds suggest.
